We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Services Manager to lead a team of engineers supporting a range of IBM technologies, including:

  • IBM Infosphere
  • WebSphere (MQ)
  • IBM SAN Volume Controller
  • Data Warehouse
  • IBM Cloud Packs
  • DB2
  • IBM Z, I & P Series Hardware

As the Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and support of these technologies, adhering to client SLAs, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in leading, mentoring, and motivating your team to deliver exceptional technical service.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in managing technical teams within an IT infrastructure and cloud environment.
  • Proven experience in supporting and troubleshooting IBM technologies, including Infosphere, WebSphere, Data Warehouse, Cloud Paks, DB2, and IBM Z, I & P Series hardware

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of technical engineers providing support for IBM infrastructure and cloud technologies.
  • Oversee the delivery of technical services in accordance with client SLAs and best practices.
  • Implement and maintain service processes to ensure efficient support operations.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues with the supported technologies. (Hands-on involvement may be required)
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering their technical growth.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for supported technologies.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to service delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in IBM technologies and industry best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • backup and recovery tools, preferably BRMS, Tivoli: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Infosphere, WebSphere: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Data Warehouse, Cloud Paks: 4 years (Preferred)
  • DB2, and IBM Z, I & P Series hardware: 4 years (Preferred)
  • IT infrastructure and cloud environment.: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Managing Technical Team: 4 years (Preferred)
  • troubleshooting IBM technologies: 3 years (Required)
