Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service cum Sales Executive to join our team. This role combines outstanding customer service skills with a strong sales aptitude to provide an exceptional experience to our customers. The ideal candidate will handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and proactively engage in sales activities to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers through various marketplace channels (phone, email, WhatsApp, social media, etc.).
- Respond promptly to inquiries about products, orders, and services, providing accurate information.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues professionally and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist customers in navigating our website, making purchases, or understanding product details.
- Maintain a positive relationship with customers, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
Sales and Upselling
- Proactively engage customers to recommend products that meet their needs, increasing order value.
- Handle inbound sales inquiries and follow up on leads to convert them into sales.
- Reach out to existing customers for repeat purchases, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs set by the management.
- Assist in executing promotions and campaigns by reaching out to customers and encouraging participation.
Order Management
- Process orders and payments accurately and efficiently using the designated platforms.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of customer orders.
- Track and manage customer orders, providing updates and resolving any delivery issues.
Feedback and Reporting
- Collect and document customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in products or services.
- Provide regular updates to the management team on customer trends, common inquiries, and sales performance.
- Analyze customer interactions to propose initiatives for improving the customer journey and increasing sales.
Administrative Support
- Maintain a database of customer interactions and transactions for future reference.
- Assist in the preparation of sales and customer service reports.
- Handle additional administrative tasks as assigned to support the team.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Sales-driven with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, e-commerce platforms, and basic order management tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of our product range and ability to convey product benefits effectively.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or sales role.
- Experience in the FMCG or food industry is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in other languages is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with standard working hours.
- Hybrid work environment (office and remote work as needed).
- Occasional weekend or public holiday work may be required during promotional campaigns or events.
