We are recruiting a Accounts Executive - AtR to join our growing team at KL HUB Shah Alam. You will join a supportive team with the opportunity to develop both profesionally and personally with support.


About the Role:

  • Support the overall concept of a “Service Centre” by ensuring that Atlas Copco standards, tools and processes are used in the service center and by our customers
  • Process and innovation: actively participate in process and systems improvements and development
  • Strive for continuous improvement of efficiency of processes in responsible areas Responsible for the preparation of all IFRS based Group reports, and other finance documents
  • Support Business Areas and Finance team providing professional advice regarding accounting and reporting ensure compliance to IFRS and Group standards, Business Code of Practice
  • Ensure all queries are dealt in a timely manner, correctly and efficiently
  • Ensure the quality and timeliness of general ledger reconciliations and follow up of open items
  • Ensure group and other agreed deadlines are met
  • Ensure the quality and timeliness of Control period end closing
  • Ensure all major issues or red flag are escalated to management as appropriate
  • Ensure monthly meetings with local customer center are conducted pre-month end closing
  • Internal controls: establish and maintain a proper level of control over accounting, and reporting processes
  • Ensure standard operating procedures are maintained and up to date
  • Support the training of new colleagues
  • Work with internal and external auditors
  • Assist local entities and Holdings in completing local statutory reporting requirements
  • Work closely with the AtR team and also with the PtP & OtC teams in the service center

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years in accounting and finance
  • University degree higher education in finance or accounting
  • English – written and ability to hold meetings, video and telephone conferences and presentations
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Major ERP system (prefer candidate with exposure to SAP)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Result oriented with a strong ability to execute
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Well organized and systematic
