We are recruiting a Accounts Executive - AtR to join our growing team at KL HUB Shah Alam. You will join a supportive team with the opportunity to develop both profesionally and personally with support.
About the Role:
- Support the overall concept of a “Service Centre” by ensuring that Atlas Copco standards, tools and processes are used in the service center and by our customers
- Process and innovation: actively participate in process and systems improvements and development
- Strive for continuous improvement of efficiency of processes in responsible areas Responsible for the preparation of all IFRS based Group reports, and other finance documents
- Support Business Areas and Finance team providing professional advice regarding accounting and reporting ensure compliance to IFRS and Group standards, Business Code of Practice
- Ensure all queries are dealt in a timely manner, correctly and efficiently
- Ensure the quality and timeliness of general ledger reconciliations and follow up of open items
- Ensure group and other agreed deadlines are met
- Ensure the quality and timeliness of Control period end closing
- Ensure all major issues or red flag are escalated to management as appropriate
- Ensure monthly meetings with local customer center are conducted pre-month end closing
- Internal controls: establish and maintain a proper level of control over accounting, and reporting processes
- Ensure standard operating procedures are maintained and up to date
- Support the training of new colleagues
- Work with internal and external auditors
- Assist local entities and Holdings in completing local statutory reporting requirements
- Work closely with the AtR team and also with the PtP & OtC teams in the service center
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 2 years in accounting and finance
- University degree higher education in finance or accounting
- English – written and ability to hold meetings, video and telephone conferences and presentations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Major ERP system (prefer candidate with exposure to SAP)
- Excellent communication skills
- Result oriented with a strong ability to execute
- Ability to work under strict deadlines
- Well organized and systematic
