How You Will Do It:
As an Intern, you will gain practical experience by engaging with advanced fire safety systems. You will work closely with engineers and IT professionals, participating actively in the integration of IT solutions within fire services construction. This hands-on approach will help you develop a comprehensive understanding of both IT operations and fire safety requirements.
What You Will Do:
Maintain and troubleshoot IT systems used in construction sites and office operations, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality.
Assist in the programming, configuration, and testing of fire alarm systems, contributing to successful integration with Building Management Systems (BMS).
Efficiently manage project documentation, including CAD drawings, reports, and test records, while generating detailed reports for fire system testing and commissioning.
Set up and configure IT tools for monitoring and managing fire systems directly on construction sites. Provide troubleshooting assistance during the installation and testing phases of fire safety equipment.
Update and maintain Building Information Modeling (BIM) data and review CAD drawings relevant to fire services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Shadow experienced engineers to gain insights into fire systems and construction processes while actively participating in on-site activities related to fire system installation and testing.
What We Look For:
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrated interest in fire safety systems and the integration of technology within this domain.
Foundational understanding of IT troubleshooting and support processes.
Familiarity with CAD software and Building Information Modeling (BIM) is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
A self-motivated learner who can adapt quickly to new challenges and dynamic work conditions.
