Job Highlights:
We are seeking an experienced NOC Team Leader to join our Network Operations Center located in Cyberjaya/Putrajaya. This newly created position involves overseeing half of the NOC Engineers and managing their direct line responsibilities. The Team Leader will serve as a crucial technical escalation point, particularly in incident management.
Key Responsibilities
o Line Management: Directly manage a team of NOC Engineers, including conducting one-on-one meetings, approving holidays according to the agreed rota, and overseeing performance reviews.
o Technical Escalation: Act as the first escalation point for NOC engineers, both internally within the company and externally with vendors and customers.
o 24/7 Coverage: Ensure that the NOC maintains full shift coverage around the clock.
o Process Improvement: Support the NOC by consolidating monitoring systems and streamlining workflows.
o SLA Adherence: Ensure compliance with agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.
o Incident Management: Take an active role in managing incidents during major disruptions and participate in post-incident reviews.
Objectives
o Lead the NOC team effectively while managing the 24/7 operational rota.
o Focus on developing processes and analyzing workflows within the NOC department.
o Serve as the primary escalation point for technical issues within the NOC.
Requirements
o A minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Networking, Computer Studies, or a related field.
o At least CCNA certification is required.
o A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in a technical role.
o Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN management.
o Familiarity with inter-networking technologies like VLANs, STP, and routing protocols such as IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
o Prior experience in a technical role within an ISP, Telco, or Managed Services environment is preferred.
o An ability to explain technical content to non-technical audiences.
o A genuine interest in continuous improvement with excellent analytical skills to spot and progress improvement opportunities within the team.
o Demonstrated leadership experience with a focus on coaching and providing structured feedback to team members.
o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
