Mechanical and Electrical Coordinator

Job Overview:

As a Mechanical and Electrical Coordinator, you will play a key role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical and electrical systems within construction projects. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers, to ensure the successful integration of mechanical and electrical components.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning:

  • Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and timelines.
  • Assist in the development of mechanical and electrical project plans.

2. Coordination and Designing:

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment with project specifications.
  • Oversee the installation and integration of mechanical and electrical systems and discrepancy between civil and architect drawings.
  • Resolve any conflicts or issues related to mechanical and electrical components.
  • Review mechanical and electrical design plans for compliance with building codes and project requirements.
  • Prepare and do submission for CSD (coordination services drawing).
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures for mechanical and electrical installations.

3. Communication:

  • Act as a liaison between different project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
  • Provide regular updates on the progress of mechanical and electrical aspects of the project.

4. Budget Management:

  • Collaborate with the finance department to manage budgets related to mechanical and electrical components.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

5. Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks related to mechanical and electrical systems and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Implement safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in coordinating mechanical and electrical aspects of construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
