BACKHOE LOADER (JCB)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate Backhoe Loader. Safely operate JCB backhoe loader for various construction tasks including excavation, trenching, lifting, and transporting materials. Site Preparation. Assist in clearing construction sites by digging, leveling, or grading land as per project specifications. Material Handling. Load and unload materials from trucks, storage areas, and other equipment using the backhoe loader. Maintenance and inspection. Regularly inspect and maintain the backhoe loader, ensuring it is in safe working condition. Report any mechanical issues promptly for repair. Excavation and digging. Perform excavation tasks such as digging trenches for pipelines, foundations, and drainage systems. Collaboration with team. Work closely with other construction workers, site managers, and engineerings to meet project timelines and specifications. Collaboration with team. Maintain accurate records of hours worked, tasks performed, and equipment maintenance. JOB REQUIREMENTS SPM OR EQUIVALENT. MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE OPERATING A BACKHOE LOADER (JCB) ON CONSTRUCTION SITES. PREVIOUSLY EXPERIENCE IN CONSTRUCTIONN OR RELATED HEAVY MACHINERY OPERATIONS IS HIGHLY DESIRABLE. POSSESS A VALID DRIVING LICENSE (CLASS H) AND CERTIFICATION FOR OPERATING BACKHOE LOADERS OR HEAVY MACHINERY (CIDB). EXPERIENCE IN LARGE-SCALE CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS SUCH AS ROADWORKS AND INFRASTRUCTURE.
