Production Costing Engineer

1. To review and provide analytical engineering evaluation and commercial advice on all RFQs received. 2. Preparing quotation upon receiving RFQ from PM's base on the minimum order quantity (MOQ) and annually quantity (EAU). 3. Coordinate with Procurement and Process Engineering team, ensuring final quotation is reviewed and seeks approval before deadlines. 4. To collect data from production & develop new standard cost for manufacturing process & update standard cost on existing operating activity. 5. To carry out variance analysis on standard cost against actual cost for on job and existing items for inaccuracies & cost control purpose. 6. Register customer documents into system. Initiate BOM check list, routing, PMP (Process Flow & Management Plan), MPI (Manufacturing Process Instruction), quality plan. 7. To assist sourcing and ordering of fixture, equipment, cutting tool, etc. 8. To monitor project status, attend meeting with customer on regular update. Requirements: 1. Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or equivalent. 2. At least 3 year(s) of working experience in Metal Fabrication/Welding/Machining industry. 3. Able to interpret, understand mechanical / technical drawing. 4. Knowledge of tolerance analysis and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). 5. Proficient in SolidWorks , Auto Cad software program applications. 6. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication at all levels, including with management, customers at all levels, suppliers and colleagues. 7. Posses an excellent mathematical and analytical skill.
