Job Summary
- Develop new product and menu for KFC brand.
Job Responsibility:
- To develop new products according to the next 6-12 months Marketing calendar.
- To develop long term base menu strategy.
- As a functional support team to ensure smooth and successful new product launches.
- Establish new procedures / SOPs and improve existing procedures.
- Prepare estimated costing for new products.
- Testing and evaluation of new ingredients, existing ingredients from alternative suppliers, new equipment, small wares/utensils, packaging, etc.
- Work in collaboration with various departments i.e. Marketing, Operations, Training, SCM on specific requests relating to new products and existing menu items.
- Compile Halal certificates for all new products prior to launch.
- Input new recipe in Food Market Hub based on PLU codes created for individual menu configurations.
Qualification and Skill requirements:
- Degree in Food Science & Technology or equivalent.
- Fresh entry level or 1 year experience in related field.
- Have no severe health risk of food.
- Non vegetarian.
- Time management.
- Meticulous.
- Analytical.
- Communication.
- Office base work but must be able to work in a kitchen environment.
- Also require minimum traveling within Klang Valley area when necessary.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
