Biology / Chemistry Teacher (KL)

Job Description We are looking for an experienced and an enthusiastic Teacher to complement our dedicated team of outstanding teachers. The role is on a full time basis, working closely with the head of department to help deliver all aspects of the curriculum across primary and middle year level. Required Skills and expertise: • Curriculum knowledge of PYP/MYP would be an added advantage. • Have a proven track record of improvement. • Be able to creatively contribute to the development of the students and the curriculum. • To be considered for this opportunity please forward an updated CV. Responsibilities: • Teaching Bio & Chemistry to a range of classes of different levels and language. • Monitoring and evaluating the progress and development of the students under one’s charge and giving useful and timely feedback to students and parents. • Preparing and assessing student learning to facilitate positive and effective development. • Working with others in supporting the department in curriculum development/review and other departmental needs. • Maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge and preparing relevant teaching resources. • Participate actively in Programme meeting and subject-based meetings. • Perform student management duties as required. Requirements: • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in any related field. Master's Degree preferred. • Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience in the Education Industry, particularly in International School will be an added advantage, with IB knowledge. • Fluent in English. • Have a strong commitment to and passion for education. • Have a broad and thorough knowledge of the teaching subject. • Be self-motivated, responsible, caring and innovative.
