Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our client base and promote CIC’s suite of ESG training programs, consultancy services, and products to GLCs and other key industry players. The ideal candidate will be passionate about ESG and possess a strong network within GLCs or related sectors, with a proven track record of building client relationships and achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities • Sales Strategy and Execution: • Develop and implement sales strategies to promote CIC’s ESG offerings, including training, micro-credential courses, consultancy, and other products tailored to the needs of GLCs and corporate clients. • Identify and prioritize potential clients within the GLC and corporate sector, proactively initiating contact and nurturing these relationships. • Client Relationship Management: • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with decision-makers in GLCs and other target organizations, understanding their unique needs and aligning CIC’s services to meet those needs. • Act as the primary point of contact for GLC clients, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and continuous engagement. • Market Analysis and Insights: • Conduct thorough market research to stay informed of ESG trends, needs, and regulatory changes, translating these insights into tailored client solutions. • Identify gaps and new opportunities for CIC’s offerings, collaborating with internal teams to develop solutions that address these needs. • Sales Targets and Reporting: • Set and meet sales targets in line with company objectives, with accountability for sales performance, pipeline management, and client acquisition goals. • Prepare and maintain detailed records of sales activities, pipeline progression, and market feedback within the CRM system, providing regular updates to senior management. • Collaboration with Product Development and Marketing: • Work closely with the product and training teams to ensure ESG offerings meet market demands and client expectations. • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop materials, campaigns, and presentations that enhance product visibility and align with sales goals.
