Job Purpose: The Senior IT business analyst is a regional role in APAC, with a focus on digital product development, integrating innovative solutions to optimize operations and productivity for user community in all APAC countries including China, Australia, New Zealand and SEA. Principal Resposibilities: 1. Analysis and Strategy: Analyze existing manufacturing, operational and commercial processes, identifying opportunities for digital innovation and efficiency gains. Collaborate with engineering, operations, supply chain and commercial teams to understand business challenges and recommend tailored IT solutions. Conduct market research to identify emerging technologies in the cable manufacturing industry to recommend to business. 2. Solution Design and Implementation: Design and implement IT solutions such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ERP integrations, IoT-enabled technologies for monitoring/ data capture and CRM tools. Work with internal teams and external vendors to oversee the deployment and scaling of digital solutions across the relevant processes. Ensure seamless data integration across systems, from procurement to production, order to fulfillment and distribution. 3. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor the performance of digital tools used in production, quality control, and inventory management. Utilize analytics platforms to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production uptime, defect rates, and delivery timelines. Conduct root-cause analysis of technical issues and implement solutions promptly to minimize downtime. 4. Collaboration and Communication: Serve as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on digital initiatives. Create user-friendly documentation, conduct training sessions, and provide ongoing support to teams using digital systems. Communicate project updates, risks, and milestones effectively to leadership and cross-functional teams. 5. Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with industry standards, such as ISO certifications and data security protocols. Stay updated on best practices and trends in supply chain digitization and other related digital products. 6. Support break-fix of digital products and ensure continuous working product: Responsible for resolving tickets related to digital product issues and updating ServiceNow tickets accordingly. Troubleshoot digital product related issues, collaborating with other analysts to identify root cause and potential resolution. Providing and articulating to end-users, potential workarounds to overcome issues Job Requirements At least 5 years’ experience working with digital products design and development. Proficient in Agile and DevOps ways of working. Knowledgeable in manufacturing business processes and general CRM and order fulfilment supply chain. Experience with SAP, Salesforce, Qliksense, Power BI would be advantageous but can also be learned in the course of work. Able to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve bugs/fixes when required. Experience working in a global environment with multiple business units and geographies/ time zone Additional Skills Analytical and meticulous Self-starter attitude Forward thinking and ability to plan/ organize work Exceptional problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
