Key Responsibilities:
- Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and report on annual budgets, ensuring alignment with the school’s strategic goals.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for the school board, leadership team, and stakeholders.
- Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs and long-term investments.
- Audit and Compliance: Coordinate annual audits and ensure compliance with local regulations and international financial standards.
- Financial Strategy: Provide financial insights and guidance to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
- Cost Analysis: Analyse costs and recommend efficiencies to optimize financial resources.
- Accounting Oversight: Supervise the accounting team, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and timely processing of transactions.
- Billing Management: Manage billing and collections, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
- Financial Policies: Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree / Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
- Minimum 4-5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in Education industry.
- Good written and verbal communication skills (English is required).
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
