IT Project Manager

Key Responsibilities: • Plan, manage, and control project implementation: Collaborate with both the team and clients to develop and execute project plans with clear milestones, timelines, and resource allocation. Ensure on-time delivery while maintaining flexibility within scope and budget. • Manage project scope, deliverables, and claims: Effectively define and control project scope. Address any changes through formal change requests and ensure project milestones are met. Handle claims or variations promptly to maintain smooth project flow. • Oversee customer retention and explore new opportunities: Foster strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for contract extensions or additional services, contributing to revenue growth. • Lead meetings and scrums, and prepare project progress reports: Conduct regular meetings and scrums with the team and stakeholders. Prepare clear and concise weekly progress reports to track KPIs (time, budget, scope, and team performance). • Foster collaboration and communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., development, sales, customer support) to reduce bottlenecks and ensure smooth project execution. Ensure timely resolution of issues and maintain prompt communication with the team and clients. Preferred Requirements: • Proven experience as a Project Manager in IT or related industries, especially in product development or digital solutions. • Strong background in managing AI, IoT, or tech-based projects with an emphasis on business licensing solutions is an advantage. • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to manage customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and exploring new opportunities for growth. • Experience managing project scope, deliverables, and claims with attention to detail and results. • Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, MS Teams, or other relevant software. • Experience with Agile methodologies, including managing scrums and project meetings. Education and Other Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology. • Relevant professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 will be an advantage. • Over 5 years of experience in project management, particularly in software or product development, with a proven track record of handling government contracts.
