Job Summary
UCSI Schools is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Physics Teacher to teach secondary students at our Subang Jaya Campus. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging lessons, inspire curiosity about the physical sciences, and help students excel academically based on the KSSM syllabus.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching and Learning
- Plan and deliver interactive Physics lessons for secondary students in line with the KSSM syllabus.
- Develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessments that foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Explain complex concepts using practical examples and experiments to enhance understanding.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback to support their learning journey.
Curriculum Development and Enhancement
- Design and update teaching resources to align with KSSM objectives and encourage hands-on learning.
- Prepare students for national and international examinations.
- Integrate technology and experimental activities to deepen understanding of physics principles.
Student Support and Development
- Identify students requiring extra assistance and provide targeted support.
- Foster analytical thinking and scientific inquiry among students.
Collaboration and Professional Development
- Work with colleagues to ensure a consistent and progressive Physics curriculum.
- Participate in professional development to stay updated on innovative teaching methods and curriculum changes.
Classroom and Resource Management
- Ensure safe and effective use of lab equipment.
- Maintain a conducive learning environment that encourages scientific exploration.
RequirementsEducation
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Education, or a related field.
- A teaching qualification or certification (e.g., Diploma in Education, PGCE) is preferred.
Experience
- Proven experience teaching Physics at the secondary level.
- Familiarity with the KSSM syllabus is essential.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physics concepts and lab safety.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire students to explore the sciences.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
Schedule:
