About Kidocode:Kidocode is dedicated to fostering digital skills in children and teens through engaging and hands-on educational experiences. We organize a variety of events, including workshops, open houses, and roadshows, to spark interest in technology. We’re looking for a Marketing and Event Executive who can spearhead these initiatives, ensuring successful roadshows and events that effectively communicate our mission.
Role Overview:
The Marketing and Event Executive will play a crucial role in organizing Kidocode’s events, with a strong focus on coordinating roadshows across multiple locations. This position involves planning, logistical coordination, and overseeing on-the-ground event execution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about creating impactful learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Event and Roadshow Coordination:
- Event and Roadshow Planning: Conceptualize and plan roadshows and events that align with Kidocode’s mission to promote tech education, attracting kids, teens, and their parents.
- Logistics Management: Handle all logistics, including venue booking, transportation, equipment rental, and on-site setup for roadshows and events.
- Vendor and Partner Collaboration: Source and negotiate with vendors, manage partnerships, and coordinate with local contacts for roadshows to ensure all requirements are met.
- On-Site Supervision: Oversee setup and manage on-the-ground activities during roadshows and events, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that arise.
- Evaluation and Feedback: Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and analyze the success of roadshows and events to inform improvements for future initiatives.
Marketing and Brand Support:
- Campaign Coordination: Collaborate with the marketing team to support campaigns that promote upcoming events and roadshows.
- Customer Engagement Strategies: Develop approaches to engage and educate parents and children about Kidocode’s offerings during roadshows, including informational sessions, Q&As, and interactive activities.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all event materials and setups are consistent with Kidocode’s branding and mission, reflecting Kidocode’s commitment to educational innovation.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in event planning, marketing, or roadshow management.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel as required for roadshow management.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
