Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager (Construction) to lead and manage infrastructure projects, focusing on roadworks, flood mitigation, and other key developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, exceptional leadership abilities, and a proactive approach to resolving challenges. Candidates with IR (Professional Engineer) or TS (Technologist Specialist) certification are encouraged to apply. Availability to commence immediately would be preferred.

Location of Projects : Primarily outside Kuala Lumpur (Kelantan, Pahang, Perak, Negeri Sembilan)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee construction projects focusing on roadworks, flood mitigation, and other infrastructure works.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements and quality standards are met.
  • Monitor on-site progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
  • Manage procurement processes for materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and project specifications.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing construction projects, particularly in roadworks, flood mitigation, or similar infrastructure projects.
  • Possession of IR (Professional Engineer) or TS (Technologist Specialist) certification is a strong advantage.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Willingness to travel and work on projects outside of Kuala Lumpur.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM8,000.00 per month
