Plans and supervises the activities in the machine and clad shop. Utilizes Lean Manufacturing techniques to ensure the components are produced to satisfy project schedules with attention to safety, quality, minimized time cycle and cost.
Ensures quality output with a goal of 100% first pass yield by coordinating/optimizing manufacturing processes and eliminating defects.
Provides training, motivation, guidance and communication to team members to develop a competent, well disciplined, safety and quality conscious team.
Coordinated the maintenance and upgrade of machine tooling to ensure manufacturing machining capabilities exists to meet organizational objectives. Initiate improvement plans and cost savings.

You are meant for this job if:

Minimum Degree in related field.
5-7 years shop or engineering experience with experience of CNC Machining environment
Additional experience in Cladding (Auto Weld) will be an added advantage
At least 2 years supervisory experience with good understanding of Employment Act or Labor
Understanding management of Lifting Operation and Overhead Crane usage.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Flow, 5S, Visual Management and Problem-Solving Skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong PC skill in Microsoft office required. SAP experience preferred.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
