  • Procurement Management: Source and purchase materials, goods, and services in line with company needs, ensuring timely availability to meet operational requirements.
  • Vendor Relations: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers, negotiating the best possible terms (price, delivery, quality, etc.).
  • Cost Control & Budgeting: Monitor and manage procurement budgets to control costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Purchase Order Management: Prepare, issue, and follow up on purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that products purchased meet company quality standards and resolve any issues related to product defects or delays.
  • Supplier Performance Monitoring: Track supplier performance against agreed-upon metrics (delivery times, quality, pricing), and report any discrepancies or issues.
  • Market Research: Continuously research market trends and suppliers to keep informed about new products, materials, and cost-effective sourcing strategies.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases and supplier information.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis to senior management.

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management (preferably in a similar industry).

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and purchasing software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to manage costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
