Job Description: This position oversees the commercialization of new projects, especially logistics-related ones, future planning, internal process improvements, and advanced analytics, including financial modelling.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data to identify trends and insights.
- Utilize statistical methods and data analytics tools to extract data.
- Maintain an updated dashboards for real-time monitoring (KPIs).
2. Competitor Analysis
- Conduct thorough competitor analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats based on assigned projects.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on competitive intelligence and market trends.
3. Financial Modeling
- Develop financial models to assess the feasibility and impact of strategic initiatives (ROI).
- Evaluate the financial implications of various strategic options and projects.
4. Scenario Planning
- Create scenarios to assess potential outcomes and associated risks.
- Support decision-making by providing insights into different strategic scenarios and their potential impacts.
5. Performance Measurement
- Establish and monitor performance metrics for strategic initiatives.
- Track and report on key indicators to assess the success of implemented strategies.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant data and insights.
- Ensure a cohesive approach to strategic planning across the organization.
7. Presentation and Communication
- Prepare and present analytical findings to the Head of Strategic Planning and other stakeholders.
- Communicate complex analytical insights in a clear, concise, and impactful manner.
- Develop compelling PowerPoint presentations to support strategic discussions and decisions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling and pivot tables.
- Strong PowerPoint presentation skills with the ability to create professional and impactful slides.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
