Title: HRC Payroll Lead
We are looking for an experienced HR professional to join the team in the newly created role of HRC Payroll Lead, which will report to the HRC Manager. The HRC Payroll Lead will be responsible for overseeing the Payroll processing operations, ensuring efficient, timely, accurate and cost-effective delivery of payroll services across the region GPC East covering South Europe, Africa & Mediterranean, Middle East and Asia Pacific.
This role involves leading a team of payroll professionals ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations and providing exceptional support to employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the payroll departments supporting the several locations.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including wages, benefits, taxes, and deductions across region.
- Verify payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain compliance with local payroll laws and regulations.
- Prepare and review payroll reports and summaries.
- Coordinate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll processing.
- Provide training and support to payroll staff.
- Handle escalated payroll inquiries and issues.
- Manage payroll vendor(s) relationships and contracts.
- Implement and maintain payroll systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing and management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills and ability to lead a team across region.
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software and systems, being ADP a plus.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Ability to conduct reporting and internal audits.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
