Logistic Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

• Transportation Management:
• Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of trucks, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Resolve any transportation issues or delays promptly.
• Client Communication:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding logistics operations.
• Provide updates on shipment status and address customer inquiries or concerns.
• Collaborate with clients to understand and meet their specific logistics needs.
• Route Planning and Optimization:
• Develop and optimize delivery routes to minimize fuel costs and delivery times.
• Collaborate with drivers and fleet managers to address route challenges.
• Inventory and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery schedules, and client interactions.
• Ensure compliance with shipping documentation requirements, such as bills of lading and customs forms.
• Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Vendor and Partner Coordination:
• Liaise with third-party carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation providers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure all transportation activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Monitor driver and fleet compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:
• Address any logistics issues, such as delayed shipments, damaged goods, or inventory discrepancies.
• Implement solutions to prevent recurring issues.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare reports on logistics operations, including costs, efficiency, and performance metrics.
• Analyze data to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
