What You’ll Be Working On
· Team Leadership: Lead and manage 6 – 8 software developers & engineers; and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence within the team.
· Technical Mentorship: Provide hands-on technical guidance & constructive feedback, support professional growth, and act as a mentor to team members.
· Development Oversight: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Project Management, Business Analysts, QA, and Business Development) to plan, execute, and deliver quality projects on time and within budget.
· Individual Contributor: Contribute to the codebase as needed, particularly in Java. Take ownership of critical components and troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
· Best Practices: Ensure the implementation of best practices in software development & engineering, including , , , , , and .
· Process Improvement: Continuously refine development methodologies, tools, and workflows to increase productivity and efficiency.
· [Preferable] DevOps Oversight: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, integration, and deployment. Establish monitoring, alerting, and logging systems; while maintaining a highly available, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud hosting environment.
What We’d Like to See in the Candidate
· Experience: Minimum 7 years in software development and implementation.
· Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
· Technical Proficiency: Hands-on expertise in modern web technologies (e.g., Java, ReactJS, AWS, GCP, microservices) and database management.
· Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to address and resolve complex technical challenges.
· Communication: Good and effective verbal and written communication, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
· Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire engineering teams to achieve their best potential.
· [Added Advantage] DevOps Knowledge: Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes and cloud-native application development.

Pay: Up to RM10,000.00 per month
