JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for overseeing the entire bakery operation, ensuring high quality baked goods are produced efficiently, managing the baking team and maintaining compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Key responsibilities include;
  • Baking and production– Plan and prepare variety of baked goods such as bread, pastries, cakes and other specialty items
  • Team Leadership – leading kitchen employees to ensure that all foods is prepared to the highest standard
  • Quality Control – Maintain strict quality control measures for food presentation, flavor and consistency, ensuring the meals meet the airline’s expectation
  • Food Safety and hygiene – Ensure adherence to food safety regulations such s proper storage, transportation and preparation to prevent contamination and ensure passenger health
  • Coordination with suppliers – Collaboration with suppliers and logistic

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as baker with at least 5 years in leadership role, preferably in aviation catering, fine dining, or luxury hotel environments.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulation, Halal regulations (HACCP certified is a plus)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Creative and passionate about food with strong attention to details.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and communicate effectively with all level
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early morning, late night and weekends.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
