Senior Buyer

Job Responsibilities

• Manage material purchases based on demand to prevent shortages or overstock.
• Follow up on Purchase Order acknowledgments and delivery confirmations from suppliers.
• Track orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Expedite materials to meet production requirements.
• Regularly update the production planner on material status.
• Ensure inbound shipments are cost-effective and align with company cost-saving policies.
• Optimize inventory orders through effective solutions.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors.
• Address and resolve quality issues with suppliers.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth material delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superiors or managements

Job Requirements:

• Must possess at least a Diploma in any field.
• At least 2 years of working experience in a related field.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Excel and overall proficiency with data computation.
• Self-motivated, independent, and able to work under pressure with tight timelines, prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Good knowledge of inventory control

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
