Key Responsibilities: 1. Team Management: Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the FOH team. Schedule shifts and assign tasks to service staff. Train and mentor FOH staff, ensuring they meet service and operational standards. Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback. 2. Monitor sales trends and recommend strategies to improve revenue. 5. Staff Development: Assist in onboarding and training new hires on FOH procedures and expectations. Guide senior service attendants in learning robot maintenance and system operations. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among FOH staff. 6. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all FOH staff comply with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards. Conduct regular checks to ensure the dining area complies with regulations. Report any incidents or maintenance issues to the relevant departments. 7. Reporting and Communication: Act as a liaison between FOH staff and management. Provide regular updates to the Restaurant Manager on FOH performance, challenges, and areas for improvement. Maintain records of customer feedback, sales, and staff performance for management review. 8. Operational Support: Step into operational roles when needed, including barista duties, cashiering, or assisting with cleaning tasks. Ensure robot waiters are charged, maintained, and operating effectively. Required Skills and Attributes: - Leadership and team management skills. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Problem-solving abilities and quick decision-making. - Knowledge of hospitality technology (e.g., scan-to-order systems, POS systems, robot operations). - Customer-focused mindset with a keen eye for detail. Minimum Education Level: - High School Diploma (SPM) or equivalent is generally sufficient, provided the candidate has relevant work experience in hospitality or customer service. Preferred Education Level: SPM, Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field such as: - Hospitality Management - Food and Beverage Management - Business Administration - Customer Service Other Considerations: Experience Over Education: For FOH Supervisors, hands-on experience in hospitality or food service. Candidates with 3-5 years of experience in similar roles, such as Senior Service Attendant or Service Coordinator or even Restaurant Manager. Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential and can sometimes compensate for a lack of higher education.
