Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchasing, planning, contracting, and governance for shipping services.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding deliveries, ensuring compliance with import/export regulations.
  • Oversee freight orders, pipelines, quality control, and document accuracy throughout operations.
  • Analyze freight market trends and recommend actions to enhance shipping performance.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to divisions and Country Offices.
  • Review internal processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with administrative and reporting standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, shipping, or administration with a - secondary school certificate; or
    4 years with a first-level university degree; or
    3 years with an advanced university degree.
  • Strong ability to handle high-volume workloads and prioritize tasks.
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous in managing operations.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP web-based systems.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices or certified training in procurement is an advantage.
