QA Engineer

Armstrong Electronics Sdn Bhd Location: Kulai, Johor We are looking for a dynamic and creative person to join our team. 1. Primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth running of daily inspection activities. 2. Responsible for daily in-process/ final measurement quality. 3. Coordinate with the Operations team for the establishment of improvement projects. You will play an important role in:- 1. Responsible for all production measurement for Foam & Rubber products. 2. Lead QC team on daily dimension measurement, including first buy off & in-process measurement for daily operation. 3. Establish a sustainable quality inspection plan to ensure that process minimizes or eliminates any potential product rejects/ defects. 4. Work with Engineering and Production Team to identify testing method and correct defects in the finished goods. 5. Assist in establishing quality criteria for new parts and prepare limit sample for new approved part. 6. Implement effective Statistical tools and techniques to ensure products are managed in an effective method. 7. Support QA Engineer on preparing SPC, GR&R & CPK reports. 8. Report to Operation team on any discrepancy found in daily production run, on any discrepancy found, include daily rejection rate over the set target. 9. Initial notification for rejection/ defect, stop machine, to on hold production until corrective actions have been taken. 10. RoHS awareness on daily duties. 11. Care & use equipment correctly, ensure instrument used is within the due date. 12. Perform daily 6S activity. 13. To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Superior. 14. Authorize to stop process if nonconforming report found. 15. Authorize to feedback quality issues to operation team. To be successful in this role, you will need to have:- 1. Minimum 2 years of quality control experience in manufacturing environment. 2. Min. Diploma in Mechanical/ Engineering/ Sciences. 3. Technical: MSA, FMEA, GR&R, CMM / Smart Scope Programming, Minitab Skill 4. Non-Technical: Basic knowledge and use of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint is required. 5. Leadership: Job Delegation, Good communication skills
