JOB SUMMARY: Head of Factory is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing facility. The role involves ensuring sales performances, managing production processes, ensuring product quality, maintaining safety standard, and leading a team of workers. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) Sales and Revenue Growth: • Work closely with commercial Department to develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales target. • Analyse sales and production data to identify trends and implement strategies for improvement. 2) Production Management: • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient production processes. • Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines. • Optimize production workflows and resource allocation. 3) Quality Control: • Ensure that all products meet quality standards and compliance regulations. • Implement quality control processes and correctives actions when needed. • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure product consistency. 4) Health and Safety: • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety guidelines and regulations. • Monitor workplace safety standards and provide training to staff on safety procedures. • Investigate accidents and implement preventative measures. 5) Team Leadership: • Manage, motivate, and supervise production staff. • Provide training and development opportunities to ensure team competence. • Foster a positive, productive work environment. 6) Maintenance and Equipment Management: • Ensure machinery and equipment are well-maintained and operational. • Coordinate with maintenance teams to address any machinery breakdowns. • Oversee the purchase and upkeep of production equipment. 7) Inventory and Resource Management: • Oversee inventory management and sure adequate supplies for production. • Monitor raw materials usage and coordinate procurement needs. 8) Budgeting and Cost Control: • Manage the production budget and work towards cost reduction without compromising quality. • Track expenses and recommend improvements for cost-effective production. 9) Reporting and Communication: • Prepare regular reports on production performance, quality metrics, and staffing. • Communicate with senior management regarding operational issues and improvements.
