Business Plan / Financial Budget: - Understanding the basis of preparing Feasibility Studies. - Assess the reasonableness of operating expenses and capital budget. - Analyse and assess how a business plan can align with Corporate Strategies. - Performing periodic analytical reviews on the actual financial results compared to the budget. - Analyzing financial information, monitoring and interpreting the results versus the business plan. - Facilitate budgeting and business planning exercises with relevant business units to ensure a balance is struck between realistic targets and ensure the overall achievability of such targets is attainable so that the accuracy of business cashflow projections is ensured. - Managing the preparation of the company’s financial budget. - Review and analyse the reasonableness of the timeline, project milestones, costs and pricing assumptions used in preparing the financial budgets. Corporate Exercises and Special Assignments - Participating in proposed corporate proposals, e.g. land acquisition and proposed ventures into new businesses. - To prepare relevant financial simulations/ statements based on any proposed business ventures and - To participate in the structuring and inception of various proposed business ventures. Treasury Functions & Group Borrowings: - Monitor and ensure efficient and optimal funds management. - Liaise with lenders on existing and new borrowings. - Furnish relevant financial documents (such as cashflow projections) to lending institutions and/or the relevant parties to facilitate the applications for financial facilities. - Establish, prepare, upload and maintain up-to-date and relevant documentation to improve the efficiency of financial facility applications and/or modifications/ improvements to existing financial facilities; and - Participate in exercises related to capital raising and/or funds to ensure the future success and sustainability of various business units and/or new business ventures. Finance and Accounting: - To assist and work closely as a team member - in the Transfer Pricing exercise - in the GST Review exercise - periodically review tax implications based on the decisions made by management for various - business units. - Provide in-depth analysis of the financial implications of business decisions and - in the overall finance and reporting function as required under Bursa and/or any other relevant regulatory body. Job Requirements: - Minimum Bachelor’s Degree / Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance or equivalent. - Minimum 5-6 years of relevant working experience, preferably in various industries, including healthcare. - Good written and verbal communication skills (English is required). - Proficiency in MS Office applications. - Attention to detail. - Strong analytical skills - Ability to work under pressure.
