Molding Process Manager

The Molding Injection Process Manager, provides technical support with mold design and DFM review, mold trials and testing, launch, debug of Production improvement injection molding and auxiliary equipment. implementing process improvements on existing processes, and implementing cost improvement ideas.

Responsibilities:

1) Perform new part/mold testing and develop appropriate process parameters.

2) Provide injection molding technical supports on mold testing and trials, continuous improvement, and assist Production in areas of processing as and when required.

3) Knowledge of thermoplastic materials, their properties and processing method, and others technical knowhow.

4) Develop and maintain an effective control system for maintenance and update of the process parameters records for new and all existing parts that are manufactured.

5) Perform DOE’s, PPAP’s and APQP’s in order to optimize processes with tooling on tool modifications for process improvements.

6) Motivate and provide direction to the Process Technicians/Supervisor ensuring appropriate directions, training, and evaluation.

7) Work with toolroom for all tool repairs and maintenance.

8) Ensure quality system and regulatory compliance.

9) Ensure that the work activities are conducted in accordance with regulations and proper safety measurement.

10) Help in selection of all new molding machines and auxiliaries.

Requirements:

• A degree or diploma in Engineering, Injection Molding relevant preference, with/or
• A minimum 15 years experiences in plastic injection molding with position of Process Engineer or Process Manager.
• Ability to elicit cooperation from management and other departments
• Ability to work independently and rapidly adapt and respond to priority changes based on business needs
• Computer legible.
