- Inventory Management: Oversee and manage the inventory of materials and consumables to ensure alignment with production planning and operational efficiency.
- Logistics Coordination: Facilitate the timely delivery of purchased parts and consigned materials to support production schedules, collaborating with local logistics suppliers for optimal efficiency.
- Supplier Relations: Address and resolve supplier delivery issues promptly, implementing corrective actions to maintain smooth operations.
- Transition Management: Coordinate the transition of incoming materials from suppliers, ensuring a seamless integration into production.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance with all LMW (Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse) requirements and internal purchasing guidelines.
- Procurement Process: Process purchase orders by liaising effectively with suppliers, ensuring all purchases receive the necessary approvals.
- Sourcing: Identify and source new goods both locally and internationally that are not supplied by existing vendors, expanding our supplier network.
- Cost Management: Analyze and calculate total costs of purchased goods, including freight, while implementing strategies to control departmental operating costs.
- Cost Savings Initiatives: Develop and pursue yearly cost-saving goals, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and reduced expenditure.
- Additional Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as assigned, contributing to team success and operational excellence.
Background & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain or procurement roles, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building effective supplier relationships.
- Mindset: Proactive, dynamic, and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork: Excellent team player who can also work independently and take initiative when needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
