We are seeking a skilled Production Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking large quantities of food in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality standards and consistency.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Motivate and ensure that team spirit is encouraged to all staff.
  • Control and direct food preparation, ensure overall efficiency in production and update of individual Department Operation Manuals.
  • Ensure quality controls for all finished products.
  • To lead the team in researching, creating new recipe and developing new product lines
  • To oversee production of food product, cook well, related marination or hot food as required and maintaining product standard.
  • To manage raw material ordering, adjusting orders if required prior to the deadlines.
  • Provides solutions, recommendations, and analysis for quality control issue
  • Maintain orderly workstation & adhere to hygiene, health & safety standards;
  • Handle costing, minimize wastage, and sourcing of quality ingredients at competitive rates.
  • Comply and ensure hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Work closely with other management personnel in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the company and satisfaction of the customers.
  • Maintain a good knowledge of hot & cook food industry trends and changes. Conduct regular checks on team knowledge, understanding and overall practices.
  • Manages inventory such as maintaining the inventory of food supplies, monitoring stock to ensure that all necessary ingredients are available for meal preparation and the food waste is minimized.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a chef in a production or catering environment.

- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.

Working Conditions:

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
