We are currently seeking an Export Manager for our South Asia Division from Malaysia office. This pivotal role will drive our expansion into the regions, leveraging opportunities to achieve our shared business objectives. This role involves collaborative engagement with a wide range of stakeholders specially in Pakistan & Afghanistan region and directly influences SNR's strategic direction. Key Responsibilities: • Lead expansion efforts into new geographic market segments in South Asia. • Explore new markets to generate increased revenue. • Cultivate and manage client relationships, identifying potential opportunities for new contracts. • Analyse data and produce reports to identify growth areas for the business. • Navigate and monitor local regulations, liaising with customers and local authorities in appropriate languages when necessary. • Manage contracts and suppliers within targeted regions. • Enhance company's export capabilities, focusing on increasing market share for FMCG products. • Generate revenue from diversified Agri commodity trades. • Assist the export and sales team with strategic initiatives. • Establish relationships with South Asian embassies and consulates to engage potential customers. • Demonstrate strong historical experience and understanding of the industry and region. • Promote the company's products to expand market presence in the region. • Travel as necessary to address issues and enhance the company’s profile in South Asian countries, particularly in Pakistan & Afghanistan. • Develop and drive export sales activity by considering the sales offer and evaluating potential in international markets (mainly Afghanistan, Middle East, Africa, Russia and Eastern Europe) • Ensure adherence to country specific importation legislation • Develop strong relationships within supply chain to explore existing supplier and distributor base and possible commercial sales relationships. • Implement sales and distribution plans to meet customer requirements • Execute marketing efforts and reaching regular sales targets by carrying out market research activity in chosen export markets • Working with Group Marketing to develop appropriate marketing materials for an international audience • Providing global market intelligence and competitor activity reports • Work with the Supply Chain and Operations team to deliver the most effective distribution channel from supplier to customer • Lead a team of one (based in Afghanistan), with potential to increase resource as the export business grows Key Requirements: Must be able to speak, read, and write the language (Urdu) including English. Any other local languages such as Pushto, Sindhi, Persian, Punjabi is a plus point. Master’s Degree in Business or Marketing. Having at least 5 years of experience (minimum 3 years of experience as a manager or Head) Calm nature & ability to handle a team in those regions. Strong commercial acumen, and analytical and problem-solving skills. Possess strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills and able to work under time pressure Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to build relationships across all levels. Results Oriented and have strong negotiation skills.
