The Deemples team is lean and independent. Our team works remotely across the world, connected by tools that keep workflow progress and communications fluid, building and marketing great technology that improves the golfing experience for both golfers and golf clubs.

Role Overview

As a Community Manager for Deemples, you will play a critical role in activating and growing the local golf community in your region. Initially, your focus will be on organizing events, driving demand, and building strong connections with golfers. Over time, as you establish yourself, you will transition into the Account Manager role, managing relationships with local golf courses and ensuring they thrive within the Deemples ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
Phase 1: Community Activation & Demand Generation

Event Management:

  • Organize and host golf events, tournaments, and meetups to grow engagement.
  • Drive sign-ups for events and ensure an excellent on-ground experience.

Community Activation:

  • Build and nurture relationships with local golfers and communities.
  • Run creative on-ground activations to increase participation and app adoption.

User Engagement:

  • Act as the local point of contact for golfers, addressing queries and encouraging app usage.
  • Regularly update golfers about events, promotions, and packages via social media and WhatsApp groups.

Phase 2: Golf Course Partnerships & Account Management

Account Management:

  • Manage relationships with local golf clubs, ensuring they remain active and engaged with Deemples.
  • Act as the liaison between clubs and the Deemples HQ team, providing support on events, promotions, and feedback.

Partnership Optimization:

  • Collaborate with golf courses to enhance their offerings on Deemples (e.g., golf packages, events).
  • Ensure a win-win relationship by aligning Deemples' goals with the interests of local clubs.

Insights & Reporting:

  • Monitor local golfer trends, events, and partnerships to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular feedback and insights to the HQ team to refine strategies.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales, events, community management, or account management is a plus.
  • Strong local network within the golfing community or willingness to build one.
  • Familiarity with the local golfing landscape is a bonus.
  • Ability to manage multiple relationships effectively and drive win-win outcomes.
