Freelance Technical Manager – Oil and gas

Key Responsibilities • Technical Expertise & Guidance: Provide expert technical advice on Oracle Tools’ products, focusing on drilling, well intervention, and completion applications, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility with client needs. • Client Support & Consultation: Offer technical support to clients, assisting in troubleshooting, product selection, and application advice to address specific operational challenges. • Field Performance Evaluation: Oversee field trials, gather performance data, and provide feedback to refine product design, ensuring Oracle Tools’ offerings maintain reliability and efficiency. • Technical Documentation & Training: Develop technical documentation, including user manuals, operational guidelines, and training materials to support customers and internal teams. • Industry Research & Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, trends, and best practices, integrating new insights to enhance Oracle Tools’ product offerings and maintain a competitive edge. • Risk & Safety Management: Evaluate and address potential technical risks associated with product usage, focusing on operational safety and compliance with industry regulations. Requirements • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in drilling, well intervention, or well completion, with a proven track record in technical roles within the oil and gas sector. • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of wellbore equipment, downhole tools, and other oilfield technologies, with expertise in optimizing these for various well operations. • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex technical issues and provide practical solutions. • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts clearly to clients and teams. • Project Management: Self-motivated and organized, with experience managing technical projects independently and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. • Strong network within the oil and gas industry, including connections with operators, contractors, and service companies.
