We seek an experienced and results-oriented General Manager to lead our retail operations and oversee our strategic store expansion plans. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Align business operations with the company’s long-term vision, focusing on both in-store and digital innovation.
  • Identify and evaluate potential markets for new store locations, working closely with the real estate and market analysis teams.

Store Expansion:

  • Lead the planning and execution of store expansion projects, from site selection to store launch.
  • Collaborate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure timely and cost-effective store openings.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, including demographic analysis, market trends, and competition reviews, to determine optimal locations.
  • Monitor the performance of new stores, ensuring they meet sales and operational targets.
  • Create scalable processes and frameworks to streamline future store expansion efforts.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of existing stores, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Develop and implement operational processes that maximize productivity and reduce costs.
  • Ensure stores are fully stocked, visually appealing, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Sales and Customer Experience:

  • Drive initiatives to achieve sales targets, increase foot traffic, and improve customer loyalty.
  • Partner with marketing teams to develop campaigns that align with local market needs and boost engagement.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor store managers and their teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Set clear goals and provide feedback to ensure consistent performance across all locations.
  • Cultivate a collaborative and motivating work environment aligned with the company’s values.

Financial Management:

  • Develop budgets for store operations and expansion projects, ensuring fiscal discipline.
  • Monitor P&L performance, identify improvement areas, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

Market and Competitor Analysis:

  • Stay ahead of fashion trends, customer behaviors, and competitor strategies.
  • Leverage insights to optimize product assortments and tailor store experiences to local markets.

Qualifications and SkillsEducation:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (MBA is preferred).
  • Mandarin Speaker

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in retail management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multi-store operations.
  • Proven experience managing store expansion projects, including planning and execution.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth and meeting financial objectives.

Skills:

  • Exceptional project management skills, particularly in store development and expansion.
  • Strong analytical capabilities for evaluating new markets and making data-driven decisions.
  • Leadership skills to inspire and manage diverse teams across multiple locations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in retail management software, budgeting tools, and data analytics platforms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM18,000.00 per month
