Job Title: Executive, Accounts Location: Ladang Air Manis, Sedenak, Kulai, Johor Reports To: Accountant (Manager) Job Summary The Account Executive will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and providing critical financial insights. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills to support the organization’s financial health and compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities • General Accounting: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. • Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor statements, and other financial records. • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in creating budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making. • Tax Compliance: Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax filings in compliance with local regulations. • Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing documentation and schedules required for internal and external audits. • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency. • Vendor and Client Coordination: Manage communications with vendors, clients, and other stakeholders regarding payments and invoices. • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring organizational compliance. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Proven 2-3 years experiences as an Accounting Executive, or in a similar role. • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
