Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in processing invoices and payments. Maintain records of outstanding payments and monitor overdue accounts. Data Entry and Documentation: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets and maintain and organize financial documents, such as receipts, invoices, and statements. Financial Reporting: To prepare financial reports, statements, and summaries via monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Reconciliations: Assist in reconciling accounts, including bank statements and other statements in timely manner. General Ledger Maintenance: Support in maintaining the general ledger by recording transactions and preparing journal entries such as book keeping. Administrative Support: Answer queries from clients, vendors, or internal teams and assisting keyed in payroll. IT Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (SQL) and Microsoft Excel. Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to identify discrepancies and suggest solutions. Education: Minimum high school diploma is required, but a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred. Experience: Minimum 2 years extensive experience, but prior accounting knowledge is advantageous.
