Job Title: Store Keeper

Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and organized Store Keeper to manage inventory, stock levels, and ensure that the storage area is clean and well-organized. The Store Keeper will oversee receiving and issuing materials, maintaining accurate stock records, and assisting in inventory management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have good organizational skills, and ensure timely availability of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of goods and materials.
• Maintain an organized and clean inventory area to ensure easy access and safety.
• Ensure that stock levels are accurately recorded and maintained.
• Monitor inventory and reorder stock when necessary to prevent shortages.
• Check and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Record any discrepancies in stock levels and report them to the supervisor.
• Assist in stocktaking and ensure proper documentation during inventory audits.
• Ensure that all products are properly labeled, tagged, and stored according to company standards.
• Process requisitions for materials and products and issue them to the respective departments.
• Ensure that safety protocols are followed in the storage area to minimize accidents.
• Manage documentation related to stock movement, including delivery receipts and stock reports.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely deliveries and stock replenishments.
• Report on stock levels, shortages, and potential stock obsolescence.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Store Keeper or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of inventory management and stock control processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using inventory management software and tools.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks if required.
• Ability to operate Forklift
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in warehouse management or inventory control are a plus.
