Job Summary
The BSS PSI Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of Business Support Systems (BSS) projects as the Prime System Integrator. This role requires exceptional project management skills, particularly in managing third-party providers (3PP), to ensure seamless integration and successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of telecom BSS domains, strong leadership abilities, and proven experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders and vendors to deliver customized BSS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution:
- -Define Project Scope: Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria. -Develop Project Plans: Create comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. -Manage Execution: Oversee day-to-day project activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and timely completion of tasks.
Third-Party Provider (3PP) Management:
- -Vendor Coordination: Identify, select, and manage third-party vendors and service providers involved in the BSS implementation. -Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate 3PP performance, addressing any issues or deviations from project requirements promptly. -Integration Oversight: Ensure seamless integration of third-party solutions with existing BSS infrastructure, maintaining system integrity and performance.
Stakeholder Management:
- -Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams, clients, and third-party providers. -Reporting: Provide regular project updates, status reports, and performance metrics to stakeholders. -Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise among stakeholders or vendors to maintain project momentum.
Quality Assurance:
- -Standards Compliance: Ensure all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and industry best practices. -Testing and Validation: Oversee testing phases to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability before deployment.
Risk Management:
- -Identify Risks: Proactively identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. -Issue Resolution: Address and resolve project-related issues promptly to minimize impact on timelines and deliverables.
Budget and Resource Management:
- -Budget Oversight: Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial constraints. -Resource Allocation: Allocate resources efficiently, balancing workload and optimizing team performance.
