We are seeking a Food Trainer/Quality Controller (QC) to uphold and enhance food quality, safety, and service standards across all Dave’s Deli outlets. This role combines training and quality assurance to ensure consistency and excellence in operations.

  • Train kitchen and service staff on food preparation, presentation, and hygiene standards.
  • Develop and implement training modules for new employees and refreshers for existing staff.
  • Conduct hands-on coaching during outlet openings or staff transitions to maintain standards.
  • Monitor food quality, portioning, and presentation across outlets to ensure consistency.
  • Conduct regular audits of kitchen operations, cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve food quality complaints in collaboration with outlet managers.
  • Assist in new recipe testing and development to maintain innovation in the menu.
  • Prepare detailed reports on training progress and quality audit findings.
  • Provide feedback to management to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in the F&B industry, preferably in a training or quality control role.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple locations and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for food quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Must have own transport.
