Junior Web Developer (Shopify and WIX)- Fully Remote

Key Responsibilities:

Website Design & Development:

• Create, customize, and maintain websites using Shopify and WIX platforms.
• Design responsive, mobile-friendly, and user-centric websites.
• Optimize website performance and loading speed.

E-Commerce Integration (Shopify):

• Develop and customize Shopify themes.
• Set up online stores, including payment gateways, shipping methods, and product catalogs.
• Implement third-party apps and integrations to enhance store functionality.

Customization & Functionality:

• Customize templates and themes to meet client requirements.
• Implement custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to enhance functionality.
• Integrate plugins, APIs, and other tools to improve site features.

Content Management (WIX):

• Build and edit websites using WIX's drag-and-drop editor.
• Create engaging landing pages and blogs as per client needs.
• Ensure WIX websites align with SEO best practices.
• Integrate payment methods

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Proven experience with Shopify and WIX development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (for Shopify).
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and web performance optimization.
• Familiarity with third-party app integrations and APIs.

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in website development (Shopify and WIX).
• Portfolio showcasing past projects on both platforms.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering quality work.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
• Knowledge of other platforms like WordPress or Squarespace.
• Basic understanding of e-commerce marketing and branding

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,000.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
