Job Overview:
The Business Development Assistant will provide crucial support to the business development team, contributing to the expansion and success of Richiamo Coffee. The role involves researching new opportunities, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, assisting with sales initiatives, and ensuring that business processes are efficiently executed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Analysis: Assist in conducting market research to identify business opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends that will drive business growth.
- Sales Support: Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team, including preparing presentations, reports, and sales materials.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Assist in identifying new business leads, creating potential partnerships, and managing the initial stages of the sales pipeline.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and update CRM systems, ensuring that client interactions and sales opportunities are tracked and followed up on in a timely manner.
- Client Engagement: Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and other client-facing activities to maintain strong customer relationships.
- Project Management: Support the planning and execution of business development projects, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
- Proposal & Presentation Preparation: Assist in the creation of proposals, presentations, and other documents for potential business opportunities.
- Marketing & Promotion: Help to plan and execute marketing and promotional activities aimed at growing the company's brand and customer base.
- Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and update the management team on key metrics and business development activities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing is an advantage.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
- Attributes:
