Staff Nurse (Elderly)

Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, calling for assistance from health care support personnel.
Carries out a full range of registered nurse duties, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient’s condition. This should include wound dressing, tube feeding, catheter care, stoma bag, etc.
Document patient medical progress and treatment; record notes to update medical conditions.
Resolves patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
Assisting with personal care, which may include bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating.
Providing mobility assistance may be required, for example helping the patient in and out of bed, a chair, or a wheelchair.
Participates in the health education and explanation of treatment to patients and relatives.
Provide first aid and administer oxygen if the patient requires care before reaching the hospital.
