- Responsible for collaborating with service advisors and other mechanics to plan and carry out repairs within promised deadlines, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.
- Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair or maintenance action in workshop or client site.
- Report to service advisor if any other additional issues come up, or if further repairs or parts are required.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned and required by the management.
- At least minimum 3-4 years working automotive mechanic experience.
- Candidates must possess at least Diploma.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate to customers if required.
- Proficient in English/Bahasa Malaysia. Bonus points if candidate also has proficiency in speaking and writing in mandarin/cantonese/hokkien.
- Able to work independently.
- Ability to be flexible, adapt to changing factors, priorities, and deadlines.
- Has a keen eye for details.
- Able to demonstrate a good track record job at prior workplace or by clients.
- Following Skills are a massive plus if candidate posses any of them.
- Familiarity with both local and overseas (JDM/US/EU) vehicles. Continental vehicle experience preferred.
- Has knowledge on latest hybrid/electric vehicle systems.
- Experienced with latest diagnostic softwares.
- Experienced at assembling, repairing, and maintaining advanced modern vehicles.
- Specialisation in multiple areas such as suspension, Steering & Chassis, Powertrain – Engine, Transmission and Final Drive, and Electrical, Electronics & Diagnostics.
