Construction Site Leader

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers. Delegate tasks effectively to ensure efficient workflow. Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative environment. Develop work schedules and assign responsibilities based on project requirements. Monitor progress against project milestones and adjust plans as necessary. Ensure that all work is completed according to specifications and quality standards. Enforce safety regulations on-site to protect workers and prevent accidents. Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for the team. Ensure that all workers have the necessary certifications, such as the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card. Liaise with architects, engineers, surveyors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals. Report on project status to upper management or clients regularly. Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly. Monitor project expenses to ensure they remain within budget constraints. Order materials and equipment needed for the project while negotiating costs with suppliers when possible. Prepare financial reports related to project expenditures. Inspect work performed by subcontractors and employees to ensure compliance with quality standards. Implement corrective actions when quality issues are identified. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and progress reports. Ensure all necessary documentation is completed for regulatory compliance. Skills Required- Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal skills. Proficient in project management software and tools. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations. Ability to solve problems quickly under pressure. * Can speaks multiple language such as Bengali. Qualifications- While there are no strict qualifications required for this role, candidates typically benefit from: Relevant experience in construction or a related field. GCSEs (or equivalent) in mathematics and English at grades A* to C (levels 4 to 9). Completion of an apprenticeship or higher education in construction management can be advantageous.
