Assistant Assurance Services Manager (Internal Audit)

Responsibilties:

• To lead a team of auditors in the end to end execution and completion of audits assigned
• To undertake detailed planning of the assignment with the guidance and approval of Head of Internal Audit
• Monitors the implementation of audit fieldwork as planned and appropriately handle/escalate any issues during fieldwork
• Completion of acceptable draft audit report for review by Head of Internal Audit
• To update audit programs based on up to date operational processes of the audit client
• To liaise with the audit client on all required arrangements (entry, fieldwork, exit and reporting)
• Ensure availability and completion of working papers by team members to evidence audit work done and support issues identified
• To provide guidance to team members on tasks allocated and assess the performance of each team member on the assignment
• To assist the Head of Department in Annual Internal Audit Plan
• To lead the preparation of risk management reports i.e. power point slide, including activity report for review by Head of Department prior to Audit Committee Meeting
• To undertake any other work allocated that are required for effective and efficient delivery of the internal audit function as directed by the Head of Department

Requirement:

• Experience : At least 6 year(s) of working experience in the Internal Audit of Public Listed Company / Government Linked Company or Multinational Company, and managing subordinates / less experience auditor in an audit team.
• Education Qualification : Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking/Engineering/Business Studies/Administration/Management / or equivalent.
• Possess Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or other related professional certification will be an added advantage.
• Knowledgeable in English Grammar and report writing skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM6,300.00 per month
