Job Summary
The successful incumbent will lead and direct the routine function of Human Resource Department in manufacturing. These key roles include managing the workforce; such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, administering employee benefits, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's growth.
- Identifying, recruiting, and selecting qualified candidates for various positions for the entire process.
- Administer monthly payroll and reports; and submit all statutory payments on time
- Plan and organize training programs; ensure employees are trained on legal regulations, such as health and safety standards, ISO requirements in a related manufacturing industry.
- Oversee and manage performance appraisal system to regularly assess employee performance, provide feedback, and implement performance improvement plans.
- To handle conflict resolution; grievance handling, and mediating disputes between employees and management
- Maintain HR systems and processes; payroll administer and employee benefits & compensation structure
- Design and implement employee retention strategy, motivate staff and reduce turnover.
- Responsible for government or authority liaison to ensure regulatory compliance both for company and employee.
- Provide management reporting and other ad-hoc assignments from time to time.
Key Skills Required:
- Candidate with minimum Bac Degree in Human Resource/ Industrial Relation Business Admin or any related discipline.
- Preferable 5 years of related experiences in manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of labour laws and compliance in the retail industry
- Experience in conflict resolution and performance management.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on employee engagement and retention.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
