Key Responsibilities: 1. Materials Planning: o Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products. o Forecast material requirements based on production schedules, sales forecasts, and historical data. o Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and components. o Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or excesses and manage stock levels to minimize carrying costs. 2. Continuous Improvement: o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity in materials planning and production scheduling. o Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to apply innovative solutions to planning challenges. Qualifications: • Have experience in materials planning, production planning, or a similar role. • Strong understanding of production processes, inventory management, and supply chain principles. • Proficiency in planning and inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems). • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong organizational and time-management abilities. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills: • Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CPIM) is a plus.
